Domingos Loureiro
Assistant Professor in the Department of Fine Arts at the Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto, and a Researcher at the Institute of Research in Art, Design, and Society. He holds a PhD in Arte e Design, specializing in Painting, from the Universidade do Porto; a Master’s degree in Painting from the Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto; and a Bachelor’s degree in Painting from the same institution. He is the local coordinator of the Arts & Crafts Aujourd’hui Project (Erasmus+) Project Link. He serves as the Principal Investigator of the GroundLAB project (i2ADS) Project Link, an organizing member of the ICOCEP – International Congress on Contemporary European Painting Congress Link, and the coordinator of the publication ‘Curar a Paisagem: A ética como definição da paisagem contemporânea em Arte’ Publication Link. He also coordinates the GroundLAB Artistic Residencies – Valongo Slate Biennial (2021 and 2023). Loureiro is a frequent author and speaker in academic and artistic contexts, both in Portugal and abroad. He is also a Visual Artist. ORCID Profile
